This is a cool animated gif of "Hydrophobic water". In case you did not already know, Hydrophobic basically means "afraid of water" or "water fearing". In reality, this is not truly a hydrophobic effect, just simply because there is no way that water can be repelled by water. Instead, this is just a case of the water losing its cohesiveness. Possibly as a outcome of Supercooling.
